Nestled in historic Northeast community and along Reservoir Street, near Spotswood Elementary School, Franklin Heights provides affordable housing to families and individuals in our area. Franklin Heights 129 units include apartments, townhouses, and single-family homes, ranging in size from one to five bedrooms.

Renovated in 2008/2009 to certified EarthCraft design, the property consists of 129 units connected to project-based voucher assistance. Eligible families and individuals generally contribute 30% of their adjusted monthly income towards the rent. Residents are able to enroll in a self-sufficiency program that provides support and resources towards education, work training, and related needs such as childcare and transportation. The units are located in a prime location, with easy access to local support services and amenities.

Please contact your Housing Choice Voucher caseworker at 540-434-7386 to make sure they have the most up-to-date household information and ask him/her any questions you may have about your portion of the rent.

The rent is due on the first of each month, but we give five days from the first as a grace period. After the fifth day a late fee will be charged.

A rent statement will be mailed to you along with a late rent letter (Pay to Quit Notice).

If you have complaints about a neighbor or staff write a statement with the “issue(s)” that describes the concern(s) and address it to Nehemias Velez (Franklin Heights Property Manager). If the problem is with the Franklin Heights Property Manager address the letter to Michael Wong (Executive Director).
