HRHA works to ensure that families in our community have what they need to succeed. Within our housing programs, we offer residential support services that connect residents with additional empowering resources to help them to build a stable foundation, improve their lives, and work towards self-sufficiency. With your help and support, we can expand our efforts and help them achieve success!

Give The Gift Of Reading, Post-Secondary Education, Residential Support, and more.

  • Kelley Street Garden Program

    Provide one-time or monthly support for the Kelley Street Garden. Your donation supports maintenance of the garden, purchase of veggie and fruit starters, educational materials, regular programming for children through the summer, and more!

  • Literacy- Reading by Third Grade Initiative:

    Books for Little Libraries and families as they complete their eligibility processes. Assist with events and outreach related to improving child literacy.

  • Homeless Veterans Fund:

    Support for the veterans to equip their apartments i.e. beds, dishes, furniture, recreational passes, and more.

  • Family Self Sufficiency:

    Funds to support residents services like the Holiday Giving Tree, transportation for jobs, education, and health, and other resident programs.

All donations are submitted to the non-profit branch of HRHA, Shenandoah Housing Corporation (501 c3), and are tax-deductible. Donations can also be made via check and mailed or dropped off at our Kelley St office (286 Kelley St).
